There’s a lot of talk about ADUs. You might want a place for an elderly relative to live close to you. You could be looking for extra income from a rental. Maybe you need a quiet office to work from home.

The accessory dwelling unit, or ADU, goes by many names: in-law unit, secondary dwelling unit, granny flat, or carriage house.
